The WOOPI Singers
The WOOPI project (Wider Opportunities for older people in Inverclyde) was launched in July 28th 2009. The overall aim of the WOOPI project is to improve health, well-being and confidence of the over 60 age group throughout Inverclyde. Opportunities to learn new skills, develop talents already discovered, meet new people and widen social opportunities.
As part of the WOOPI communities programme The WOOPI Singers formed in April 2010 and provides the opportunity for those involved to have a Tuesday sing-a-long and perform in and around the community in various locations.
